LinkedIn has recently announced the universal roll out of their publishing platform so we can all publish blogs via LinkedIn and give Richard Branson and other ‘Influencers’ a run for their money. ūüôā ¬†It’s an excellent opportunity to raise your profile, engage with your target market and drive more traffic to your website.

Here’s an example of how Amanda Hoffmann has started to use the platform. ¬†As of 18 March 2014, she’s already had over 2,901 views, 46 likes and 8 comments — fantastic coverage and at no charge!

There is one caveat of course — it is SO important to publish interesting, relevant content (like Amanda) ¬†rather than tell everyone how wonderful you are and try to sell your wares. ¬†According to LinkedIn’s publishing platform T&Cs, “LinkedIn discourages and may disable posts that self-servingly advertise a service, business, political cause or other organization or cause that does not benefit the broader LinkedIn community.”¬† ¬† For more information on the terms & conditions, click here.
